Dolores (Lorry) Eileen (nee Sheldon) Beier

Dolores (Lorry) E. Beier, age 86 of Neosho (Milwaukee), went home to the Lord on Tuesday, August 8,2017. She was born in West Allis on February 27, 1931, to Fredric and Marcella (Bradley) Sheldon.  Lorry passed peacefully at her son Richard’s home, after struggling with dementia and other health problems.

Her professional employment career involved managerial and secretary positions at Landmark Credit union, Creative Store Design and Milwaukee Electric Company.

Lorry was a lively red head filled with love of life and loyalty to her family. She always told you she loved you. She was interested in dancing till dawn and singing many songs at every opportunity. She composed hundreds of poems which touched the hearts of many. She received many merits and outstanding achievement awards from the International Society of Poets.Lorry had impeccable clothing style, fashion sense. Her home was spotless and she woke up every morning with a smile and a happy outlook on life, despite any troubles.  She was a hard worker and never gave up on you.

Lorry is survived by children: Carol A. (Pat) McIntyre and Richard R. (Felicia) Weinlein.  Brother Terry (Barb) Sheldon; Four grandchildren; Crystal Weinlein (Lynn Davis), Poppi (Christopher) Salter, Sean (Megan) Walsh, Carissa Walsh;  Three Great-grandchildren:  Kara Salter, Hanna Salter, and Hadley Walsh.Lorry is proceeded in death by her parents: Fredric and Marcell Sheldon; Siblings David, Jerome (Jerry), Georgia Brudnicki; Husbands: Kenneth C. Weinlein, Robert F. Beck and Robert A. Beier.

Family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday, August 16th from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, Hartford.    Rev. Scott Moore will officiate.  Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be 3:00 p.m. at Good Hope/Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, 4141 S. 43rd St. Greenfield, WI.
