Frank A. Albrecht

Frank A. Albrecht of Juneau was Born to Eternal Life Monday March 19, 2018 at the age of 85 years.  He was born March 3, 1933 in Athens, WI the son of Frank and Catherine (nee Gebhardt) Albrecht.  Frank attended St. Anthony’s School and Athens Public High School, joined the Air Force after school and completed basic training at Shephard and Lackland Air Force Base. Trained at Chanute Air Force Base as a aircraft engine mechanic and air craft maintenance tech he then served two years in Alaska and one year in California; a total of 4 years of service. He then worked as a tractor mechanic and at Marathon Electric in Wausau, WI. Following his time in Wausau he moved to Reeseville, WI and worked as a master plumber until purchasing Kaeding Hardware which he sold in 1999. Frank was a boy scout master in Athens and Reeseville, belonged to the American Legion Post 190, was commander, long time member of The Knights of Columbus, past grand knight for two years, member of the Reeseville / Lowel Lions Club.

  He is survived by his wife of 30 years Caroline (nee Galoff), Son Frank (Michelle) Albrecht, Step Son Greg (Teresa) Giese, 6 grandsons and 2 granddaughters, brothers and sisters: Gerald Albrecht Patrick Albrecht, Mary Anne Lawrence, Betty O’Connell Jeane Geissler, Carmella Mallak. Also survived by nieces, nephew’s other relatives and friends. Frank is preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Thomas and Adrian.

Visitation is Friday March 23, 2018 from 10AM- 12Noon at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home in Juneau. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at Noon.  Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Juneau, WI.  The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home – Juneau is serving the family.
