Irving D. Nikkila

Irving D. Nikkila of Horicon passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, Saturday April 2, 2016 at the age of 73 years. He was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan November 16, 1942, the son of Kenneth and Winifred (nee Alore) Nikkila.  He married Joanne M. Janowski in Racine October 23, 1965.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Joanne and his loving children, Neil (Kathy) Nikkila of Muskego and Nancy (Matthew) Kraus of West Bend, and his dearest grandchildren Carrie (fiancé Craig Schloemer), Angela Nikkila, Kaitlyn Nikkila, Madeline Nikkila, Cameron Kraus and Kaleigh Kraus and his dearest great grandchildren Kianna, Adrianna,  Hunter, Jaysen, Justin, Brianna and Jaxson. He is also survived by his brother Kenneth (Jan) Nikkila, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.   

A private service of remembrance is Thursday April 7th, 2016 at 11:45PM at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home in Hartford.
