I am saddened that one of my best friends in the universe has transitioned. I was completely distraught when i heard the news. Vell has been a big brother to me and has helped me through difficult times. He is now apart of the Ancestor realm looking after all whom he loved and who loved him. There is one thing that i vowed to him in this life and that is his children are my children and if there is anything that they needed in his absence i would try to provide. That offer still stands. I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the Smith family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection (Acts 24:15, John 5:28, 29) and the renewed Paradise earth, where death is an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26) that will very soon be eliminated forever, and no family will mourn the death of a loved one (Revelation 21:3,4). I'm very saddened to learn of the passing of my friend and former co-worker. I wish to extend my condolences and heartfelt prayer to his family. Lovell was my student at Marquette University. I have had him in several courses, including one now. He was a thoughtful and gracious man. He was a student who had "big" thoughts and enriched conversations and stirred our imaginations. He aways spoke lovingly of his daughters and family and they were a priority in his life. I will miss him and am blessed for having known him. I will offer Mass for his repose and for the consolation of his family and friends.
