Maria Christina Neddersen, born May 26th 1967, was born to Eternal Life June 9th 2016.  Maria lived a life of love. She shared this wonderful gift with her parents Magdalena  and Valentine Selthafner, and four siblings, John, Peter, Joseph, and James. Always determined, Maria successfully graduated from Marquette University with a major in psychology and criminal justice, with a German minor. United in marriage to Robert M. Neddersen in 1995, she shared her love with her three children, Jessica, Joseph, and James. She gave up a successful career and a potential doctorate to homeschool for numerous years. Although she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, Maria and Robert to spread her love by adopting Josie and Adrian that same year. Maria had a passion for living, and bravely fought her excruciating illness to the very end. She shared this passion in her love of her Catholic faith as Secular Carmelite, and the hobbies that she shared with her family and many friends: reading, writing, politics, poetry, and learning new things. She will be loved and missed most sorely.

She is survived by her loving husband Robert, and her dearest children, Josie, Jessica, Joseph, James, and Adrian.  Also surviving are her parents and her brothers, Dr. John (Maia), Peter, Joseph, and James (Marissa) Selthafner, her in-laws Thomas and Barbara Neddersen, her brother-in-law John (Robyn) Neddersen, and her sisters-in-law Cheryl (Bruce) Crubaugh and Michelle (Bryan) Boon.  Also surviving are her godparents Adam and Maria Buchert, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
