Marilyn Arvedah (nee Leitzke) Roeseler was called home to her Savior on Tuesday, April 12, 2016.  Marilyn was born on November 18, 1932 in Hustisford to Raymond and Arvedah (nee Kuehl) Leitzke . She attended Bethany Lutheran grade school and Hustisford High School.  Marilyn married Maynard Roeseler , son of Aaron and Hilda (nee Bilgrien) Roeseler on December 19, 1953 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church.

 

Marilyn loved singing, dancing, playing cards & bingo and an occasional casino visit.  She took special pride and joy attending her grandchildren’s activities and was their biggest fan.  She was a caring, loving, unselfish, hard-working, generous, beautiful daughter, sister, wife, Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister and Friend.  Her lifetime commitment to caring for others and especially those she loved is her greatest legacy.

 

Marilyn had an amazing faith in her Savior Lord Jesus and took everything to the Lord in prayer.  She was a dedicated member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church all her life and enjoyed serving with the Ladies Aid.  She worked for Dr. Withrow at the Hustisford Hospital & Clinic and Roeseler Flooring for many years.  She served as secretary for her local AAL (Thrivent) chapter for 7 years and as a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #420.  Both Marilyn and Maynard were honored by the Hustisford Lions Club for their years of community service.

 

Marilyn is survived by her five dear children Lori(Daniel) Simon of Hustisford, Mari (Kirk) Kaul of Hustisford, and Jodi (James) Galeazzi of Greenville; her sons Ross(Pamela) of Hustisford and Kris(Kim) of Watertown; her grandchildren Chelsea Simon (Brad Lisowe), Casey Simon, Carissa (Joseph) Pahlow, Jamison (Christa) Kaul, Amanda (John) Puls, Joshua Montag, Maggie (Justin) Vetsch, Samuel Roeseler, Tanner and Taylor Galeazzi, Aaron Roeseler, Isaac Roeseler, Ethan (Lauren) Roeseler, Luke, Malachi, and Hannah Roeseler; her six great-grandchildren William, Blake and Stella Pahlow, Jack and Charlie Puls and Theo Bendickson.  She is also survived by her brother Harley (Mary) Leitzke of Markesan and her sister-in-law Elnamae Heyman of Cedarburg and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband Maynard, her parents, and an infant son Maynard Jr.

 

Visitation is Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church in Hustisford from 5:00-8:00 p.m., and Monday, April 18, 2016 from 9:30-10:45 a.m.  Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Rev. Timothy Bauer will officiate.  Interment Hustisford Cemetery.
