MaryJean S. Matti

Mary Jean S. Matti of Hartford passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Aurora Hartford Hospital at the age of 61 years.  She was born January 11, 1955 in Hartford the daughter of Elmer and Gladys (nee Werner) Matti.  Mary Jean was very courageous fighting her battle with cancer.  She loved gardening and cooking and special times with her family.  She was a charter member of Washington County NAMI-National Alliance on Mental Illness. 

Mary Jean is survived by her loving son Joshua (Charlotte) Matti of Oconomowoc, and her step-son Timothy Gahlman.  Also surviving are her brothers Elroy (fiancée June Karnitz) Matti of Waterford, John (Mary) Matti of Hartford, and sister-in-law Donna Matti.  Surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Mary Jean is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Fred. 

Family will receive relatives & friends on Thursday, February 11, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 pm. at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home 226 S. Main Street Hartford.  The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home-Hartford is serving the family.
