Dora Serflek Obituary

Dora Mary Serflek of West Allis passed away Saturday, January 5th 2019 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 97. She is survived by her loving children Joseph (Colleen) Serflek, Robert (Chris) Serflek, Julie (Brian) Emmer, and Joan (Daniel) Hove. Also, are surviving are ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dora graduated from UW Stout in 1944 with a Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics. She taught school in West Allis and West Milwaukee for over 30 years. She enjoyed sewing, baking and wood carving and painting. She was also an avid reader.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you for the tender and loving care that Angie Zoster gave to their mother during her last few years.
