Geraldine M. (Wittig) Gregor

Geraldine (nee Wittig) M. Gregor formally Affeld passed away October 10, 2019, in  Pencil, Arkansas at the age of 83 years..  She was born July 30, 1936,in Erin WI,  the daughter of Lester and Alice L. (nee Lenhardt) Wittig.

She was born on Thursday, July 30, 1936 to Lester Wittig and Alice Lenhardt Wittig in Erin, Wisconsin. Lester and Alice were married on November 11, 1933 and after Alice passed away shortly after Geraldine's birth in 1936. Lester lived with his parents until he married Velda Foelske and were married April 29, 1939. 

Geraldine is survived by her husband Stephen Gregor of Mena, Arkansas and her children; Children: Cheryl A (Arthur) Wakeman of Chesapeake, Virginia, Gary Affeld of Juneau, WI, Wendy (Donald) Peschl of Reeseville, WI, Michelle (William) Kroll of Sherwood, WI and Jim Affeld of Juneau, WI. Loving grandmother of  William and Mary Wakeman, Megan and Emily Kroll and Jessica Bloom, and precious great grandchildren;  Lola, Braxton, and Brody Wakeman and John Bloom.

Dear sister of Vernon Lester (Yvonne) Wittig, of New Berlin, WI and their four children Rachel, Daniel, Jeremy, and Joshua also survived by other relatives and friends.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her husbands, William A. Affeld of Juneau, Ray Maywald, Mena Ark.

Graveside service is Saturday October 19, 2019 at 1pm at Juneau City Cemetery, Juneau, WI.

Rev. Paul Schupmann will officiate.  The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home-Juneau is serving the family.
