Linda Ann Meyer

Linda Ann Meyer of Hartford went home to the Lord on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the age of 73 years.  She was born January 27, 1944 in Hartford, the daughter of Kenneth and Marylou (nee Wolf) Mago.  She was united in marriage to Merlin Meyer at St. Kilian’s Catholic Church in Hartford on July 1, 1961.

Linda was devoted to the health care field. Beginning as an EMT on the Hartford Emergency Squad and later in life as a home healthcare nurse's aid. She enjoyed doing the Lord's work.  Linda enjoyed most spending time with her husband and family.  She was an avid golfer and traveler. Gardening, decorating, a Friday fish fry and relaxation also brought her joy.

Linda is survived by her loving husband Merlin, her dear children Sandy (Brian) Core, Julie Meyer-Becker, Susan (Brent) Smith, Timothy (Kelly) Meyer, Mark (dear friend Carolyn) Meyer, Jenny (Gary) Knaub, her precious grandchildren Derek, Jared (Stephanie) Core, Dustin Becker, Dana ( Mitch) Tiedeman, Gavin Pinter, Daniel, Megan, Michael, Katelyn Meyer, Kale and Kamryn Knaub, and one great-grandson Weston Tiedeman.   She is further survived by her mother Marylou Reabe, her sister Lauren Reabe, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.  

Visitation is from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, November 2nd at St. Kilian’s Catholic Church, 264 W. State Street.  Mass of Resurrection will follow at Church at 6 p.m.  Private interment.   Memorials to Hartford EMT or St. Kilian’s Parish would be appreciated.
