Mathias F. Kolb, Juneau, passed away at his beloved farm on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.  Matt was born on May 26, 1938, the son of Mathias and Charlotte (Reany) Kolb.  He was a graduate of Juneau High School and proudly served his country in the National Guard. He was united in marriage to Mary Heiling on August 10, 1963 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Clyman.

Matt worked for Henkel Paint before starting his own business in 1969.  He spent his entire professional life giving the better part of Dodge County a fresh coat of paint and new wallpaper.  He enjoyed waking up every morning to see God’s great creation out of his sunroom windows.  In his spare time, Matt shared his passion for stock car racing, hunting, and fishing with family and friends.

His greatest love was his family.  He was a devoted husband and father. His children were blessed to have a dad that always supported them.  In later years, the special times with his grandchildren brought smiles, laughs and many memories.
