Mildred Violet (Maas) Lehmann

 Mildred Violet Lehmann of Beaver Dam formally of Juneau passed away at the Remembrance Home of Beaver Dam on November 29, 2017 at the age of 96 years, with the staff and family at her side.

Mildred was born on the Farm on December 2, 1920 in Juneau, the daughter of Ernest and Clara (Steffen) Maas.  She attended the Riverview School for 8 years half mile from home. Later she worked at Pappentine’s Drug Store in Juneau, where she met the love of her life Floyd O. Lehmann, they were married on December 13, 1941 at the parsonage of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau. They were married for 65 years at the time of his death on April 27, 2007.

Mildred was a hard-working wife and mother, loved the farm, flowers, fishing, gardening, playing cards and going up north to the cabin, and especially her grandsons and her cats.

Mildred is survived by her daughter Clarajean (Dolly) Laatsch & husband Don Laatsch, grandchildren Dale (Kathy) Jeche, Daniel (Friend Lori Giese) Schmidt; Dennis (Jen) Schmidt, Step Grandchildren, Ron Laatsch, Susan (Friend Bruce Hauser) Braker, and David (Sue) Laatsch.  Proud Great Grandmother of Katie (Tony) Tesch, Geoff Jeche, Morgan Schmidt, Jordan Schmidt; Erica Tisdale and Emily Tisdale.  Step Great Grandmother of Mitchell (Celia) Braker; Stephanie Braker, Jenna Braker, Emma (John) Tyborski; Ellen Laatsch, Amber (Nick) Dols, Christopher Laatsch; also 2 Great Great Granddaughters; and 5 Step Great Great Grandchildren.

Also, survived by Special Friends Wayne and Jean Steinke; Also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Mildred was predeceased by her husband on April 27, 2007, her parents, Mother & Father in Law; Sister in Law, Four Sisters and Two Brothers, Special friends Art and Lolly Steinke, and Great Great Grandson Nathan Schmidt.

Visitation is Sunday December 3, 2017 at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau from 1PM-2:30PM.  Funeral service will follow at church at 2:30PM. Rev. David Brandt will officiate.  Interment Juneau City Cemetery.
