Susan Stolzman Obituary

Susan K. Stolzman, of Juneau passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek at the age of 71 years.  She was born July 17, 1946 in Appleton, WI, the daughter of Levi and Margaret (nee Abendroth) Schroeder.

Sue was the loving wife to Jerome for 47 years and one week. She worked for 20 years at Nancy’s Notions in Beaver Dam. She was a fantastic homemaker and cook. Most of all, though, Sue was devoted to her three children, their spouses, and her ten grandchildren – Shelley (Michael) Zarling, and their four daughters, Abigail (Brandon) Eschbach, Miriam, Lydia, and Gabrielle; Rebecca (Aaron) David, and their three sons, Andrew, Benjamin, and Alexander; and Patrick (Natalie) Stolzman, and their two daughters, Ruby and Matilda, and baby-on-the way.
The family is grateful that the Lord of grace made Sue His child in Holy Baptism. He kept her in that saving Christian faith until He took her to the warm and comfortable home in heaven He had prepared for her. Although, she is still wearing a sweater.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Margaret (nee Abendroth) Schroeder; her sisters, Karen (Ed) Kapitzke and Jane Humpage. She is survived by her brothers, Ronald (Gerri) Schroeder, Richard (Patricia) Schroeder, Ed Humpage; and many cousins.

Visitation is Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 5-7 pm at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home in Juneau and Friday, July 6 from 10-11 a.m. at St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau. Funeral service will follow at 11 am at St. John’s. Rev. David Brandt will officiate. Internment St. John’s Cemetery, Juneau, WI

Memorials will be going to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Juneau, where Sue and Jerry have been members for 39 years; to Lakeside Lutheran High School, where their three children graduated from; and Second Harvest Food Bank, https://www.secondharvestmadison.org/  which feeds hungry people, like Sue always liked to do.
