Theodore (Ted) E. Ninmann, 88, of Neosho, passed away on July 30th at Marquardt Hospice, Watertown, WI.Ted was born November 3, 1928 in Clyman, son of Paul J. and Mabel (Kaul) Ninmann. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Clyman where he also attended grade school. He married Maryetta (Mutz) Holz on August 26, 1950. She preceded him in death on February 6, 1996. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Hustisford.
Ted was a dairy farmer until his retirement. His love of horses began with his first pair of work horses, Jake and Rosie. In his younger day, he belonged to two bowling leagues and was a volunteer fireman with the Hustisford Fire Dept. He was also known for dancing with Maryetta and could really "cut the rug". He enjoyed deer hunting and playing Sheepshead especially with his siblings during family gatherings. During his later years he loved to watch old western movies and read about the Old West.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra (Robert) Rohde of Mt. Morris and Renee (James) Tatzel, Spring Valley and one son, Gregory (Sandra) Ninmann, Neosho; four grandchildren, Dawn (Ryan) Bakazan, Brooke Brown, Zachary Ninmann and Rozalyn Ninmann; and five great-grandchildren, Calvin and Alayna Bakazan, Micah Brown, Sawyer and Tenley Ninmann; sisters, Lucille Moke, Ethel Leitzke, Hazel Kuepfer and Arlene Schuett, as well as many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maryetta, his parents, Paul and Mabel Ninmann; siblings, Myrtle Jaeckel, Evelyn Nehls, Paul Ninmann Jr., Jeanette Kiefer-Kubly, Betty Wolf, Richard Ninmann, Arthur Ninmann, Willard Ninmann, Hilbert Ninmann, Larry Ninmann and Ronald Ninmann.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 12th from 10:00 until noon followed by a Memorial service at Bethany Lutheran Church in Hustisford. Burial will be at Hustisford Cemetery. The family would like to thank Marquardt Manor and Hospice for the care given to Ted over the past few months.
