Craig C. Aisbet

It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we share the passing of our beloved husband, dad, and grandpa, Craig C. Aisbet of Slinger, Wisconsin who passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026.  He was born on October 14, 1956, to Charles and Carol (née Andersen) Aisbet. Craig attended Germantown High School before beginning a lifetime of hard work.

“Like a bridge over troubled water, I will lay me down.” Craig reflected God’s love, grace, and gentle spirit here on Earth. He knew no enemy and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He took his role as Grandpa very seriously, often reminding his grandchildren, “No crying when Grandpa is around.”  He will be a great guardian angel.  Beyond that, Craig had a personality that leaned toward adventure, curiosity, and doing things in his own creative way.

Craig was an avid fan of racing from NASCAR down to local short track racing. He enjoyed a Mountain Dew, spending time in the yard and watching the Packers.   Also, he had a remarkable way with animals.  Family dogs never left his side (unless he left a burger on table, then they’d wait for him to come back.)  Horses would stand calm and squirrels would mistake him for their own.  Wagging tails of previous family dogs Zorro and Indy are, without a doubt, waiting to greet him at Heaven’s gates.

Craig was the devoted husband of his beloved wife of 47 years, Jill (née Mitchell); the fun-loving dad of Angie (Chris) Schneider, Jessica (Andy) Steinman, and Alex (Erika) Aisbet; and the treasured Grandpa of Grace, Charlize, Adeline, and Theodore. He was an adored brother to Charlie (Barb), Christine (Kirk), Cathy (the late Jeff), Curt (Denise), Cindy (Tony), Conrad, and Pete (Dawn). He was also a special brother-in-law to Bill, Bob (Sue) and Janet (Ed), a proud uncle, and a loyal friend to many.

A celebration of Craig’s life will be held later this summer.
