Frederick J. Graf

Frederick Joseph Graf of Dousman, Wis., passed away Thursday, February 6 at age 88. He was born the son of Frederick Graf Sr. and Elsie (Knop) Graf on November 19, 1931 and married Shirley Herr, the love of his life, after being educated in the seminary and serving in the Army. Together, they made their six children the center of their lives and taught them the values of faith and hard work. Frederick was treasurer at St. John the Baptist Church in Clyman, Wis., for more than two decades and supported his family by building houses – including the one he and Shirley lived in after retirement. He loved reading and watching Wisconsin sports teams on television.

Survivors include six children -- Gail (Jim) Nisiewicz, Frederick (Spring) Graf, Gregory (Sue) Graf, Mathew (Eugenie) Graf, Cynthia (Robert) Jolly and Daniel (Jennifer) Graf – and 20 grandchildren: Samantha Foster, Benjamin Kolbeck, Brandon Graf, Faith Graf, Brian Graf, Justin Graf, Spenser Graf, Alexis Graf, Reily Graf, Caroline Graf, Harper Graf, Grayson Graf, Lelia Graf, Stephanie Neamtu, Katherine Basaran, Mark Jolly, Brad Jolly, Megan Jolly, Lindsey Jolly and Madison Graf. He is also survived by brothers Thomas Graf and Robert Graf and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Shirley (Herr) Graf, brother John Graf and sisters Catherine Eagan and Margaret Huneck.

Visitation is Saturday February 15, 2020 from 10AM-11:30AM at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Clyman.  Mass of resurrection will follow at 11:30AM.  Interment will be at Holy Assumption Cemetery in Clyman.
