Ingrid R. (nee Kostler) Hughes

Ingrid Rosemarie Hughes of Erin was Born to Eternal Life with family by her side on Wednesday January 15th, 2020 at the age of 71 years.  She was born daughter of Ingeborg Kostler (Birke) in Wieseth, Germany on February 22nd, 1948 and raised by her Oma Ottilie Birke in Feuchtwangen, Germany. Ingrid Stephan (Kostler) was married to Dennis Hughes on May 17th, 1980.  Ingrid enjoyed nature and the outdoors including gardening, camping, hiking, and biking. Her greatest joy came from being with family. Ingrid worked as an accounting clerk at various companies including Harnischfeger, Pfister Hotel, Northwest General Hospital, and Bob Lanier Enterprises. She loved to share her wisdom with others and considered herself a teacher of life’s lessons.

Ingrid is survived by her husband Dennis Hughes, her sons, Brian Stephan, Nathan (Stacy) Hughes, grandchildren, Ryleigh, Evelyn, Graham Hughes, and granddog, Charlie.  Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation is Saturday January 25, 2020 from 9-10:45am at St. Mary of the Hill Parish (Parish center) 1515 Carmel Rd. Hubertus, WI.  Mass of Resurrection will follow at 11AM.  Interment St. Mary of the Hill Cemetery after Mass.  Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life from 1-4:00 pm on the 2nd floor at Soblemans Richfield, 1872 State Hwy. 175 Richfield, WI (handicap accessible). Food will be provided.
