Keith J Hambly

Keith J Hambly, of Hartford, passed away peacefully at home in the presence of loved ones after his battle with cancer , on Wednesday, December 9th, 2020 at the age of 34 years.   Keith was born May 29, 1986, son of Michael Hambly and Jane Groth (Yogerst).

Keith was diagnosed in October 2016 with stage IV colon cancer. He combated through 82 chemo treatments, including multiple chemo therapy drugs and radiation. He fought as hard as he could to be with us as long as possible.

Keith enjoyed gaming with friends, one of his favorite games was League of Legends. He loved betting on FanDuel, it didn't matter the sport or winning/losing.  He enjoyed watching movies and live sports along with his favorite snacks. He always made sure ice cream cake was included in birthday celebrations.

Keith is survived by his loving girlfriend Alyssa, his parents Michael and Jane, brothers David, Scott, and Jason (Courtney), his nieces and nephews Devon, Zariah, Kayden, Kali, Deston, close friends Jordo, Josh, Kyle, Brandon, and his Godson Julian. He is further survived by many other friends, family and co-workers.

Special thanks to Courtney for feeding him all the time, and to the chemo doctor's and nurse's at Aurora Healthcare Germantown clinic for their excellent care of Keith over the last four years.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, 226 S. Main St, Hartford.
