Richard L. Burki of Hartford, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at the age 73. Richard was born October 7, 1946, son of Edmund and Ruth (nee Casper) Burki. He is survived by his loving wife Laura (nee Johnson) and his loving children Nicholas (Amy Shelander) Burki, Keith (Amy) Burki, and Rebecca (Samuel) Chaparro. He is also, survived by five grandchildren, Zachary, Simon, Donovan, Dominic, Ariella, one brother Robert, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

He retired form Cooper Power Systems after 30 years of service. He enjoyed collecting old cars and went to many car shows. He was also a talented wood worker and created many pieces of furniture for his own home. After retirement he became a licensed massage therapist.

Richard was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Kathy
