Steve Wittmann Obituary

Steve G. Wittmann, 61, Accepted the Lord's hand on May 23rd, 2020.  Steve lost his fight with cancer after unforeseen complications.  He was surrounded by family as he answered his call home.

Steve was born in Kaukauna on May 17th, 1959 to Delmar Wittmann and Shirley (Mielke) Majeskie. Steve joined the army reserves after high school. In his younger years he enjoyed racing figure eights and his love of hunting and fishing emerged. Steve had many prize trophies including a blonde/cinnamon color phased black bear. One of his most enjoyed places was at his son Josh and his family’s homestead in Wild Rose. Family was of great importance and as the grandchildren started arriving, they became his world. His pride was his lawn care business and all of the people he came to know over the years. Steve was very active in his church as well as helping the many friends that became a blessing in him. Participating in tractor pulls was his latest joy.

Steve is survived by his wife Becky (Sorensen) Wittmann and loyal k9 Sloan. He is also survived by his first wife Tracy (Wagner) Schommer, his mother Shirley Majeskie, and his step-mother Judy Wittman.  Steve had 5 children; Sarah Weyland, Josh (Amber) Wittmann, Brad (Steph) Wittmann, Ricky (Laura) Neibauer, Emily (Anthony) Scott which blessed him with 5 grandchildren; Isabelle, Emmory, Madelynn, Teagan and Leo. His brothers and sisters; Todd (Pam) Wittmann, Tony (Susan) Wittmann Diane (Roman) Nowak, Mike Majeskie, Sherry Majeskie, Sandy Majeskie. His brothers-in-law, Roney (Sherry) Sorensen, and Tyler (Irene) Sorensen.  Steve had so many nieces and nephews that he would drop everything to help.
