Thomas William Weller

Thomas W. Weller of Hartford passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022, at his home,  surrounded by his loving family.  He was born June 7, 1953, the son of Clement and Ellen (nee Aughey) Kraemer. Tom was a man of many naps and many cats. He was also a husband, a father, a grandfather-to-be, a friend, a person you could count on to have a good talk, or argument with. When he wasn’t at home making himself a cocktail, watching T.V. or at Casa Tequila, you could find him in Door County- his second favorite place to be, other than his napping chair. Although he couldn’t hike much, he would meet us up at the Eagle Bluff tower with the jeep, every time. We would sit around the campfire and cocktail, relaxing in the woods without a care in the world. He loved bringing the boat out and was an amazing water skier. Tom (Dad) will always be missed and absolutely never forgotten.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria (nee Maliszewski) and his children, Allyse (Cody Braatz) Weller, and Miranda (David) Westfall, his brother Dean (Alexandra) Kraemer, his sister Martha “Marty” (Jim Linneman) Hacker, and his nieces and nephews, Heather, Melissa, James, Cydney and Noah.  Also, surviving his loving sisters-in-law, other relatives and many friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents. 

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, 226 S. Main Street, Hartford, from noon to 1:30 p.m.  A celebration of life ceremony will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  Private interment.
