Dr. Edward Gerald Holtman

Dr. Edward G. Holtman passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Kathy Hospice in West Bend at the age of 91 years.  He was born December 3, 1924 in Kenosha, the son of Jacob and Florence (nee Nelson) Holtman.  He had a passion for helping people and practicing chiropractic health care for 48 years.  He was a great father, and grandfather, and he will be deeply missed.  He had a great sense of humor, and loved big band music, and played drums with bands in his younger days.  He served his country in the United States Army during WWII in the Pacific Campaign.

He is survived by his loving children Gaile (Robert) Hanson of Slinger, and David (Marcia) Holtman of Hartford, 5 precious grandchildren, 17 loving great grandchildren, his sister-in-law Frances Holtman of Kenosha, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  He is preceded in death by his wife Delores in 2014, and his son Scott in 1964, two brothers, and one sister-in-law.

Memorial service is Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Hartford at 5:00 p.m. Rev. Dr.  Paul Johnsen will officiate.  Family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at church.  Private Interment.
