My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Gene's children at this sad time. I had the pleasure of getting to know Gene when I taught Mark and Marcy so many years ago. He, as well as your mother, was what families were all about. I know, too, that to Gene "family" meant much more than just his own children; but other nieces and nephews as well. I know he'll be truly missed by so many whose lives he touched.

You all have my most sincere sympathies on the passing of your Dad. Not only did I know most of you kids, but your Mom & Dad hold a special place in my childhood. I remember your kind parents taking some of us "Jongebloed kids" into your home for Thanksgiving as my parents were gone for deer hunting. You all are in my thoughts & prayers.

Please accept our condolences, I was so sorry to hear of Eugene's passing. As a longtime neighbor, I must say he was a wonderful man and was so good to my son when he was younger. He was greatly missed when he left the neighborhood.
