Dear Family of Maria,
I share my condolences and prayers.
I gave Holy Resurrection Monastery a note to give to Max and all the monks just yesterday, July 2nd, informing them of Maria's passing. I know the monks are praying for her and you, her family.
I knew her some from my visits to Holy Hill. We would talk sometimes.
in Christ, Rita, with prayers +

My sincere condolences to the Neddersen and Selthafner families. I worked with Maria and Jim at Woodside Pharmacy when we were teenagers. Both were always so much fun to work with and Maria always wore her smile. I pray that your faith will provide comfort during this difficult time. Patti Schneider (Tausend)

Our deepest sympathies go out to the Neddersen family. Maria had a heart of love and joy that could be felt, just being in her presence. May she be resting joyfully in the arms of Jesus' Sacred Heart. God bless your beautiful soul, Maria.

Maria's beautiful warm smile and gentle spirit will be greatly missed. I am so grateful for having known her and thankful for the lessons she taught through her example. God bless the Nedderson family at this difficult time. A priest recently said Death is not the end. It is simply a candle going out as the sun rises. This is Maria! Her lovely light is now part of God's greater light for all eternity! Eternal rest grant to her, Dear Lord!1

One could not Not see her! She radiated Christ's Beauty and life and JOY and LOVE.
It was as though she was the light and we the moths. I didn't get to know her well, but what I did know was more than enough, and all the most important things. She was fully Carmelite! One look was enough to know and love her, outside of this poor human exile. That same Light is in the faces of you, her beloved family. Words cannot say how sad I feel for your longing and pain. But I know that she is in that small silence, fully alive, and intimately present. You are in my heart and thoughts and prayers.

Dear Maria,
you ware a faraway sister for me. Always could feel the warmth of your loving soul. Every letter you wrote me brought me a piece of love. I know, you had hard time, but never lost your pure faith, and now God called you home. I and my family will always remember you.
Last kisses
Erika

I'm so incredibly sorry for the family and close friends of Maria; my husband and I got to know her a little just before we moved to a different area. She is in our prayers, as well as our prayers for the consolation of her family and loved ones. May Jesus hold them tight within the bounds of His Most Sacred and Loving Heart.... ~Sarah Montee and Family

Maria was always a breath of fresh air to me. I enjoyed listening to her at daily masses as she spoke the readings. She always had the most beautiful smile that you could feel penetrate into your heart because it was so warm and genuine. She will be missed by many. My love and prayers to her family for God to give them strength to continue to keep the faith and love in which she instilled within each of them.

MARIA was:

- A Spouse of Christ, daughter of Mary, child of God, beloved wife of Robert, mother of five cherished children whom she home schooled for years.
- An avid advocate for research and improvement of cancer treatment beyond chemotherapy.
- A woman who dared to follow her convictions ...even when some others did not agree.
- A gifted writer who touched the hearts of many through her BLOG (google her name and click on the her Smore account) and READ it).
- An inspiration as a faith filled woman who was humble, gentle, kind, loving, and caring .
- A woman, who like Mary, seemed clothed with the sun; always smiling and bright, cheerful and friendly.
- A warrior who fought for her life, doing what she believed would help it.....while abandoning herself to God's Will and offering it for others.
- A woman whose example was a model in these times.

I thank you, Maria, for talking with me on the phone at the end of April;
you were an inspiration. I also thank you for responding to your call to Carmel and was so happy that you were able to make your Promise.
To me, dear heart, you fulfilled your humanity and became the saint that God called you to be. You were KINGLY and served others, especially your beloved family. You were PRIESTLY...a woman of prayer and sacrifice. And you were PROPHETIC...a witness to Truth...JESUS, Who dwelled within you along with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
You were the Face of Christ to those whom you encountered in one way or another. And now I believe that you are among the heavenly Court and will continue your giving and your life of prayer that will help countless souls. Your life in eternity will continue to write your Hymn of Praise and Glory to God. The Eternal Conductor is embracing you, His beloved. "Pray for me as I will for thee that we may merrily meet in heaven."

Your sister in Christ,
Barbara Amen Alleluia of the Divine Will Straszewski, OCDS

Although I rarely talked to Maria, she was a shining light whenever she was around. Even last week, she had a big smile on her face and was truly happy. This woman was a rare one, she exuded life and love and everyone around her saw and felt that as well. God Bless you, Maria R.I..P
